Welcome to Urawa English Speaking Society The Urawa English Speaking Society (UESS) is a nonprofit private club of men and women with an interesting mix of backgrounds and professions who are eager to attain proficiency in spoken English as their second language and enjoy communicating with people from abroad in English.
We regularly hold a meeting at Urawa Community Center, 10th floor of PARCO in front of the East Gate of JR Urawa Station,from 6.00 PM to 8.00 PM on every Saturday. At the meeting,we usually practice the skits of NHK Radio English Conversation Program, discuss materials prepared by our members in charge of presiding the meeting.
In addition to the regular meetings, we periodically have some extra events like spring camp, summer party, autumn camp and year-end party.
To make our activities more fruitful and enjoyable we would like to invite people from other countries to our meetings and events on a voluntary basis. Everybody, who is interested in talking, communicating and making friends with us, are all welcome.
